What happens if you log out and log back in does that resolve the error?
Also make sure that when you are trying to make the RLS change the dataset is not refreshing?

Yes, I did try signing out and back in and a different browser too and same issue, I am also aware that a data refreash will cause this, however data is not refreashing.
