Hi experts!
Let's say we have a App that contains severall reports with round about 100 Pro license consumer.
We have several Dataflows by using an Enterprise gateway, as well as a personal gateway for specific cases.
This all takes place in a Pro Workspace.
Are there any advantages in the context of dataflows etc. if the "admins" or "creators" of this workspace get a PPU license?
Or is there really a 100% border between Pro and PPU?
Solved! Go to Solution.
No. The PPU license has no impact on your abilities. It only allows you to access a PPU workspace, and that is what has premium features. A PPU license holder in a Pro workspace functions 100% as a Pro user.
Remember, workspaces have the features, licenses allow users to participate or publish in those workspaces.
DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling

MCSA: BI ReportingThanks a lot.
The question is if it is somehow possible to use the advantages somehow in a pro workspace.
Is there any chance to link a PPU Workspace and a Pro Workspace to leverage some PPU advantages?

MCSA: BI ReportingExactly like edhan says. The workspaces has the features. If you want 1 PPU and 100 PRO, be sure that you have the dataset and report in the Pro workspace because a PPU can't share a PRO. You could use the PPU for dataflows in one workspace and then connect a dataset published in a PRO workspace.
That might be the only way to use the features I have sent in the link before.
Otherwise if you want dataset premium features all of them will need PPU licences.
I hope that helps,

Hi. I think this doc of the Premium features for dataflows might help.
