Setting up API question

I have a generic question about using an API. We have a customer that we do their reporting. They have an ITSM tool that captures incidents. We want to report on those incidents.  They say that their tool has REST API. What do I need from them in order to interact POWER BI with their tool?

I am assuming that I need a URL. Is there anything else for setting up the GetData function?

 @joshcomputer1,

You need to contact them about how to retrieve data using the REST API, for example, the URL to use, what authentication type is used to connect to the API . Then you can connect to the appropriate URL using “Get Data->Web” entry in Power BI Desktop or directly add connection information in Advanced Editor to connect to the API. There are some samples for your reference.
