Always execute last Power M statement in Visual Studio or Power Query / Power BI

Hi,

It would be great to have a function that accepts a function and always execute the last statement. This would speed up development significantly. Any thoughts on how to approach this?

I am coding in Visual Studio (Power Query SDK). Its faster than using the editor in Power BI, but not fast enough.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Kind regards,

Steve.

Hi,

This website is an inspiration to create something like requested. Will give it a try once I have some more time.

Hi @stevedep ,

Did you mean the recursive functions in Power Query? Please kindly refer to

Thanks for your reply. No, what I am looking for is:

function a (par function b) => execute last statement of of b
