cloning a report from one workspace to another workspace using powerbi API

Hi,

I am trying to clone a report (generated from an azure SQL backend) from one workspace to a newly created workspace. Clone report API method expects targetworkspaceid and targetmodelid. What is the procedure to give value for targetmodelId?

Thanks & Regards,

Somayajulu

Based on my test, the targetmodelid requires an existing datasetid in the target workspace.

Hi,

I have a report generated from Azure SQL data source in Power BI and this I want to clone into another workspace using Power BI REST API. As per API, targetworkspaceID and targetModelId are required parameters to clone a report into different workspace. I am unable to set a value for targetModelId. What is the procedure to set value for targetModelID?

I am using Power BI REST API V2.

Thanks & Regards,
