Hey Community,
By default when I write in PowerShell smth like..:
Get-PowerBITable -DatasetId [id] -Name [tablename]
I get such a view. As you can see it doesn't contain any useful info.
Is it possible to get info about columns etc?

Hi @Igorpole ,
First, please make sure that the corresponding command is provided with the correct [Dataset ID] and [Table name], you can refer to the following links to get the dataset ID.
How to find a Dataset ID in Power BI
HOW TO GET THE WORKSPACE GROUPID AND DATASETID FROM THE URL IN POWER BI
Get-PowerBITable -DatasetId eed49d27-8e3c-424d-9342-c6b3ca6db64d
Best Regards
It's correct, of course. My question was not about how to get correct dataset id )
Hi @Igorpole ,
Is the dataset you want to get table information from a Push API dataset? The command Get-PowerBITable calls the following REST API to get the list of tables involved in a particular dataset. If the dataset you are referencing is not a Push API dataset, this will not return any results...
Push Datasets - Datasets GetTables
Push Datasets - Datasets GetTablesInGroup
Manage Power BI Dataset with PowerShell
Best Regards
Yes, of course it's a push dataset.
