Hello, could you please advise what is the best way to consolidate 4 reports PBI ?
the reports are 95% identical & complexes (same measures, sales name of tables, same names of columns). The sources are local identical excel files and Dataflows.
I can't use dataset because the measures are the same names.
I would recommend creating a template Power BI report that includes all the necessary visuals, measures, and other required elements. Once the template is created, you can import the data from each of the four reports and use the template to consolidate the data.
To import data from each report, you can use the "Get Data" option and select the appropriate data source (Excel file or dataflow) for each report. Once the data is imported, you can use the template to build the consolidated report.
To address the issue of duplicate measures, you can rename the measures in each report before importing the data into the consolidated report. This will ensure that there are no conflicts when you combine the data from all four reports.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you very much! There are sources files and there are reports. Instead of consolidate reports, we decided to consolidate the source of data (excel file) and use existing report power bi (existing template). Thus we don't need to check and change name of measures, tables.
