x-axis to show only the months from January to December (and not repeating for each year),

In Power BI, i want to create a line chart that displays a two-year trend with the x-axis showing only the months from January to December (and not repeating for each year),

currently it is being displayed like this with month repeating, there is no option as Categorical in format pane.

i am using custom date table which i have linked with the main data table.

CustomDateTable =
ADDCOLUMNS(
    CALENDAR(DATE(YEAR(TODAY()) - 4, 9, 1), DATE(YEAR(TODAY()), 10, 30)),
    "Academic_Year",
    FORMAT([Date], "yy") & "/" & FORMAT([Date] + 1, "yy")
)

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Please study the solution carefully, I had to make alot of adjustments to both your fact table and the calendar table.
