working with date on a covid dataset

i am working on a covid19 dataset and i just pulled the data from the web.

please how do i get powerBI to be able to identify the total number of confirmed cases from a time series data?

i tried it buh it i was getting really outrageous numbers like 40bn

Can you please share a pbix or some dummy data that keep raw data structure with expected results? It should help us clarify your scenario and test to coding formula.
