Hi guys,
I want to replicate following table from Excel in Power BI. Unfortunately, none of the average options (grand total, row total, column total) is working. Can you please help me?
Thank you
IvanS
Solved! Go to Solution.
I already find solution to replicate % of Parent Total:
Amount % =
DIVIDE(
SUM('Table'[Amount]),
CALCULATE(
SUM('Table'[Amount]),
ALLSELECTED('Table'[Category])
)
)
Can you please share your pbix with the dataset, the screenshot doesn't help.
H @AmiraBedh ,
please find below sample table:
Department | Category | Date | Amount |
Team 1 | A | January 2023 | 100 |
Team 1 | B | January 2023 | 200 |
Team 1 | C | January 2023 | 500 |
Team 1 | D | January 2023 | 200 |
Team 2 | A | January 2023 | 400 |
Team 2 | B | January 2023 | 600 |
Team 3 | C | January 2023 | 50 |
The desired result is below. It is easy to achieve in Excel via % of Parent Total. Unfortunately, there is no such option in Power BI.
