YTD Dynamic Period Range Dates

Hi All,

I am trying to calculate the YTD, but the challenge is 2019 the week started at september and in 2020 the week has started at december. Attached is the sample data for 2019  and 2020. I require some DAX help.

Hi @Akhil_1411 ,

What's the expected result? Not sure if I understand you correctly, but you may consider to use If statement to make different calculations for 2019 and 2020?

Best Regards,

Jay

You need a custom calendar for this. Please check out the time patterns at www.daxpatterns.com

@Solu , Even custom calendar will not fit in my case because there is no pattern for the year. As i said the FY19 started on september and FY20 started on December.

I think  custom calendar works if there patterns for the FY. In my case it is different hope you got my requirement.😑

Thank you.
