Hello
I am currently using Arc GIS for Power BI to create an interactive choropleth map. The map utilizes two field parameters:
My problem is that whenever I use either parameter to swap out a measure and go back to that measure, it removes any changes I have made to the map. The color resets to a default and the layer automatically loads to the top of the hierarchy. However, if I simply navigate to another page or close and reopen Power BI the color and layer settings I apply remain.
My work will not allow me to upload my pbix file, but I could create a mock-up if needed. There is a workaround I have thought of based on using bookmarks instead of field parameter slicers, but that's clunkier then I would like. Is anyone familiar with this issue with Arc GIS and Power BI's field parameters and if so is their a way to fix it so the edits I make save as I switch between fields?
Thank you for your help,
Joe
Hi, I am facing the same issue. Have you managed to find a workaround other than using bookmarks?
Hi @JVerValin ,
Try using bookmarks to save these slices(Field Parameter) and states.
When you create a bookmark, the following elements are saved with the bookmark:
