Troubleshooting problems embedding a dashboard

Hello, I had an embed code shared with me to embed on my website. In the backend of the website, the code works well and the dashboard appears. But when published the dashboard disappears. 

What steps should I have the PowerBi account holder who shared the embed code with me take to troubleshoot this problem?

Hi @MartinRoyle,

Was the embed code generated via clicking "Publish to Web"? On your side, please directly open the URL (which is wrapped as src in embed code) in web browser to check whether you can view report. If you were able to view it that case, you may need to check the code for your web application.

yes, the weblink from the code worked well. wondering what code could be throwing this off, esp becasue it appears just fine after i input it into the backend of the website. it only doesn't work when published
