Stacked Column Chart issue

Hi All,

I'm trying to use the bar chart in my power bi report, but i'm facing some issues. I will explain the structure

This report will show sales and refunds of an ecommerce store. So as source i have two excel one for sales and the other for refunds.

I read that is a good practice to create a table with only dates and then link it to the others tables (in this case sales and refunds).

I created a relationship (one to many) date -> sales and date -> refunds. In this way i think if i will add on one page two table one for sales and one for refunds, i could filter both with on slicer.

The problem is that when I add the bar chart and select date (from the date table) for X-assis and Amount (from sales table) for Y-assis the chart looks like in the picture. i attached also the model view.

Let me know if you have a solution to this

Thanks!!

Hi @Azzurra997

Try to remove the date field and put it to the x axis again, and can you provide the sample pbix file, after testing, the date will not be blank if the relationship is right.
