Slicer with filter not working proparely

Hello,

I have very simple datamodel (factSales and dimTime - screenshot below). When I use slicer for Month it filters sales proparely, but when I put filter on a slicer (for example I only want allow users to see months 1-6) it stops working on the maximum available month. Please see video below.

Can someone explain this behaviour? Is it intentional?

Is there any workaround?

Hi, @KamilSzpyrka ;

This design does have a slight disadvantage, but when you set the selection to the maximum 5, it can't  kown whether your slicer is selected or not, because the default slicer is displayed the same way;
So there are two ways:
1. You need to manually enter 5, which is equivalent to confirming the use of slicer.

2. Keep the filter conditions of slicer and card consistent.

@KamilSzpyrka Cannot think of anything, maybe change slicer to drop-down or list rather than in between (slider)
