I have a report (not dashboard) that I published to My workspace, for now, and shared with a colleage to view. I can use the Fiscal year slicer with NO issues, however she only sees one year (the one that I had chose when I published the report) and she does not see nor can select any other year.
Can someone let me know if maybe there is a setting I didnt check or something I did not do correctly? Also can a slicer not be a part of a Dashboard? I do not get the pin option for a dashboard
Thanks
EDIT: One other user I sent the link to CAN run the report with the slicer. Could it be data source permissions possibly?

Hi @Anonymous,
How do you connect to the cube in Power BI Desktop, via import mode or Connect live mode? Do you define any RLS roles in your dataset?
In addition, in order to user slicer in dashboard, you can Pin live page to your dashboard. There is an example for your reference.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
where is the data sitting?
its quite easy to compare persmission at the source.

It is a cube on an on-premisis SQL server. So I should probably look there. Last night i took my personal home account and tested the link and it even works for me. I did make a change in the data source whereas I am using a SQL Server account that I know works instead of Windows Credentials and I will see if that makes any difference
