Hello

I would like to create a chart like the one in the image below.

Dots to see my values (negative and positive values) in a period of time and 2 Lines with limits (positive and negative as well).

So far I havent figured out how to achieve thies, can anyone guide me here?

Thanks a lot

Hi @varelapablo90 ,

You may want to look at https://pbivizedit.com to generate this visual on the fly.

  1. You need to prepare the data in Power BI for calculating line values.
  2. use some sample data to create 4 different series in pbivizedit visual editor. 2 for bubble plots and remaining 2 for line charts. You can take an inspiration from https://pbivizedit.com/gallery/dual-lines-with-scatter-plot

In case you are not able to produce the desired chart, contact them to create one for you.

Thanks,

-R

@varelapablo90 , As far as I know, you have straight lines using the analytics pane

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/transform-model/desktop-analytics-pane

You can have

  • X-Axis constant line
  • Y-Axis constant line
  • Min line
  • Max line
  • Average line
  • Median line
  • Percentile line
  • Symmetry shading
