Hi,
I have two datasets as follows.
dataset 1 - Local Excel dataset
ID | Comment | Colour |
1 | Needs washing | red |
1 | red | |
3 | n/a |
dataset 2 - PowerBI dataset
ID | Location |
1 | London |
I have created a many to 1 relationship from dataset 1 - 2 as ID's will come up multiple times in dataset 1.
I want to display a table that shows columns ID, Comment, Colour and Location. When doing this the table is filtered to only show ID's that are matching. In the above example, ID "3" will be missing from the table.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
Many thanks 🙂

Include ID 3 in your dimension table. It is bad practice to have dimensions that are not covering the fact table.
