Is there a way/automation to have a Power BI report update, and then email a .pdf of the report to a person or distribution group?

There are some ways to automate the process of updating and emailing a Power BI report in PDF format.

One way is to use Power Automate, a no-code tool that can interact with Power BI and Outlook. You can create a scheduled cloud flow that exports a Power BI report as a PDF, and attaches it to an email that is sent on a weekly basis. To do this, you need to have a Power BI report stored in a reserved capacity workspace, which requires a premium capacity.

Another way is to use PowerShell, a scripting language that can access the Power BI REST API. You can write a script that requests a dataset refresh, waits for it to complete, requests an extract of the report to PDF, waits for the file to be ready, and then sends an email with the PDF attachment.
