Hi,
I am connecting to a web REST API that has 100 rows per page. I was using "page_size=all" in my URL to get everything on one page.... a developer for my database system said I should not do that... does anyone know why?
He told me to lookup how to handle paginated APIs but I am totally confused. I've made it this far in Power BI without much coding, so this page didn't make much sense to me:
Helper functions for M extensions for Power Query connectors | Microsoft Docs
Is there a better way to do this? I had a hard time finding any videos... I keep finding paginated reports stuff which isn't applicable.
Thank you!
Hi@tktmastr ,
You can take a look at the following document about the help functions about processing pagination api if it meet your requirement:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/helperfunctions#tablegeneratebypage
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Caitlyn Yan
