POWER BI Visualizations -Cell Elements - Bars Missing

Good day

my version of POWER BI does not have the 

visualisations - Cell Elements  - Data Bars  

its not showing

this is a screen of another user who has it

I have the March 2022 POWER BI VERSION,

 

please advise how can i have that fucntion my Power BI

Hi @Anonymous ,

If you switch the table visual to matrix visual, the Data bars will display under Cell elements options... Please find the details in the attachment.

HI all

i think my friend had a odler version before march 2022.

i have the new march 2022 version

it seems that DATA BARS  has been removed from  new version

my version of POWER BI

@Anonymous , I you screen shot I can see data bar.

Some name have changes. As a work around as of now

GO to File -> Options & Settings -> Setting -> Preview feature -> New format Pane (Disable that) and use the old one

Good day Sir.

The screen shot is from my friends PC, i dont have the function called

"Cell Elements - Data Bars ' 

it the bar that increases in colour as the value in the cell increases or decreses.

i tried the solution you gave me , but the  " cell elements data bars " is not visible

Hi @Anonymous ,

Could you please confirm with your friend what type of visualization he is creating? Is it a bar chart or other visualization? What version of Power BI Desktop is he using?

THis is a screenshot of the Data Bars in the VIsuaisation section of power BI

Hi @Anonymous ,

First, please make sure that you have checked the feature "New format pane" ...

1. Select File > Options and settings > Options.

2. Under Global, select Preview features. Then checked the feature "New format pane" just as below screenshot. It is required to restart Power BI Desktop after changed the feature setting.

It seems that your friend create a table or matrix visual. Then select that table (matrix) visual, navigate to Format pane. You will find Cell elements options under Visual tab...

my cell elements pane does not have " DATA BARS"
