I have connected the tables but when I select the filter value (f.e. supplier or filter), the invoiceamount doesn't reflect the changes.
Is it because catalog table has many duplicate rows:
Variant 1 to n Catalog n to 1 Filter
and catalog n to 1 supplier
Solved! Go to Solution.
Depends of the info that you want to display you need to modify your relations. Only in tables that you need the propagation change to both.
About Apply security filter in both directions is not necessary. This is generally use in direct Queries.

Try changing the Cross Filter Direction to Both (In Variant with Catalog Table)

Thanks that worked. Do I need to set "Apply security filter in both directions"?
Am I good to go anyway the way I have set my relations?
Your relations look Ok. Only need to see the flow of the filters in your table.
For example:
In your original file, the relation don't be propagate between the tables because the relation between invert and catalog are single. So when you filter using Suppler the flow stop in Catalog. (Many to One Single Direction)

Thanks. Do you mean I have to set relations to "Both" for the other tables as well? Supplier, Category and Filtervalue?
What about "Apply security filter in both directions"?
