One to many relationship issue and not showing the data from dimension table

When using Power BI, I encountered an issue with the relationship between two tables: the Calendar dimension table and the SQL fact table. After creating a relationship between these tables using a date column as a one-to-many relationship, I utilized the date column from the Calendar table as a filter in the dashboard. However, all the data from the SQL table disappeared from the dashboard. In an attempt to troubleshoot, I created a table visual and included date columns from both tables. Surprisingly, while the date column from the SQL table displayed all available dates, the Calendar table did not show any dates at all. I'm puzzled by this discrepancy and seek guidance on how to resolve this issue.

Issues like this usually come up when one side of the relationship has dates and the other has dates and times.

Thanks for your support, I checked them, and both of them are data type, what do u think?

Hi Corbaz,

Can you please share a sample pbix file? (If you don't know how, please check the pinned thread in the forum.) It would make debugging your issue easier. 🙂
