Hi team,
I have an simple area chart with 'Returns' as the Y-Axis & 'Dates' as the X-Axis with no filters. The data pulling through to the chart starts in Sep 2016 but the data in the source starts in Jan 2015.
Why would the periods Jan 2015 to Jul 2016 not be pulling through to the chart?
Thanks!
Data Table
Date Lookup Table
@Lightice83 What is your measure forumula? Also, how are your tables related? I don't see ReturnDate in your calendar table, only in your fact table. Your Date column in your data table seems like it is all 2016 dates. So...
My measure is a simple COUNTROWS function
I have created a relationship between 'Return Date' in the Data table (which has returns from 2015 onwards) & Date in my Lookup table (which also has dates from 2015 onwards)
@Lightice83 Maybe some kind of unmatched rows situation? Like your 2015 dates have timestamps so they don't match your date table 2015 dates?
@Greg_Deckler thanks for your help
I played around with it for a while & I couldn't understand why it was not displaying all the data. Finally I just remade the chart on a new Report Page & it worked perfectly
I'm only new to PBI but have had this happen a couple of times where something does not seem to be working where I think it should. I delete the chart, remake it & it works!
@Lightice83 It's odd. I was looking to see if you had any filters on it and couldn't see anything in your Filters pane. Very strange.
