Ok, thanks for the suggestion! I share the table in Excel, of the calculation sought. Mainly, I need the sales to be divided by the days elapsed. Of course, in the case of the current month (not yet completed), divide the sales by the days until today (or yesterday).
Today is 04/15/2024 | |||||
sales $ | Business Days (Monday to Friday) | Business Days Elapsed | Projection (Searched Calculation) | Result | |
January | 1.500,00 | 23 | 23 | 1.500,00 | 1.500,00 |
February | 2.200,00 | 21 | 21 | 2.200,00 | 2.200,00 |
March | 1.900,00 | 21 | 21 | 1.900,00 | 1.900,00 |
April | 2.500,00 | 22 | 11 | 5.000,00 | 5.000,00 |
May | 3.100,00 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
June | 4.500,00 | 20 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
July | 1.150,00 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
August | 2.300,00 | 22 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
September | 1.850,00 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
October | 2.200,00 | 23 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
November | 2.900,00 | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
December | 3.000,00 | 22 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Hi @gus_jr ,
(1) This is my test data.
(2) We can create a calculated column.
Result =
var today =TODAY()
var _days_until_today=DATEDIFF(DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),1),TODAY(),DAY)
RETURN
IF([Business Days (Monday to Friday)]=[Business Days Elapsed],DIVIDE([sales],[Business Days Elapsed],0),IF([Business Days Elapsed]<>0,DIVIDE([sales],_days_until_today,0),0))
(3) Then the result is as follows.
According to your description, January through April have passed, so the result is sales divided by the days elapsed. today in May is 5/6, so it's sales divided by 5 (6-1).
