Hello Power BI Community,
I need your help again:
In my data model I have a calendar table for the whole year 2023. This calendar table has a relationship in the data model to the dates in 3 other tables.
Now I want to control the whole thing with a Time Slizer.
If I now set the date from the calendar table into the slizer, the whole thing works, but since the calendar table is created for the whole year, the whole year is also displayed in the slizer (with 0 values in the future, since the 3 tables which are controlled via the relationship do not yet contain any data).
So I would need a measure in the calendar which only limits the date to the previous full (today it would be week 18) calendar week.
With which formula could the measure work?
Thanks for your help 🙂
Is that calendar table set to import mode? If yes, how often is it refreshed?
Hi,
Yes it will be imported from a Excel fie.
In Excel, each day in 2023 is entered as one column. The dataset updates itself once a day. The values in the calendar do not change, it only serves as a date dimension.
