Issues creating a line graph to show trend over month

I'm building a dashboard to show absenteeism data. I am attempting to show trends of absenteeism over the months with a line graph similar to the one I build in Excel (below).

At the moment our absenteeism data is set up as below. When I attempt a line graph it is empty or plotted vertically.

Hi @VirginiaL ,

 

You seem to need to process the data, consolidate all the date columns, do the unpivot column. then put in the fields as shown
