I have created a model in SSDT and deployed on SSAS.
Table T1 , Table T2
Now I want to connect to SSAS using power bi and select only 1 table T1 for my reporting. Can we do that?
Currently it is not allowing me to select individual table instead giving option to select complete model and brings both table to PBI Desktop.
Any sug
Hey,
are you using multidimension SSAS or tabular?
In both scenarios the best way is to use live connection because SSAS delivers very good performance cause is exactly for analytical purposes.
SSAS Tabular uses also the same vertipaq engine as Powerbi or power pivot.
SSAS also deliver data models, so why you use ssas for deploying tables?
Maybe the best way is that you rethink your approach.
Greetings.
