Hello all,
Seeking urgent help with the following issue.
I am building a paginated report where I want to filter data from the last 6 months using a field from the dataset.
The method I am using is: to create a field within the Dataset properties which assigns 2 labels to help differentiate data from the last 6 months and data that isn't. Here is my expression:
Then I will create a filter within the dataset properties which will only display values that contain 'include'.
I will then save the query, create a table containing values from that dataset, and hit 'Run' and here is where I start running into issues.
I am open to different methods of achieving the same goal, however with my experience with normal power BI reports, this seemed like the obvious option.
Thanks
Sajan

In the end this was the solution, just switching the position of the variables within the 'DateAdd' function.

To me it looks like you have a datatype issue. What is your data type of the date you are passing it. It will need to be a datetime / date data type or you cannot use a date function. If it is in an integer you need to pass it a date.
