How to show data sorted by month in a visual

Hello there,

 

I have a huge table with a lot of rows (bigger than 1.000.000). I want to display a specific KPI (y-axis) for the corresponding month.(x-axis)

 

I have a column with the Date-Format. When I try to display the visual I only see the stacked column chart per day.

What can I do?

Does your date column has an hierarchy?

Yes I did a hierarchy with monthj and year. However, it does not display me all month of the table. Do you think I have to much values?
