How to convert all like values to be the same value

As you can see in the image below I have a variety of vendors that are separate by their specific stores. Is there a way to use a wildcard and convert each one to be just 'Home Depot' for example

You just want to extract the alphabets but not the digits and special characters right?

That would be a great place to start, yes! 

=Text.Select([Merchant_Name],{"a".."z","A".."Z″})

 

Have tried this but am getting a 'invalid literal' error on closing parentheses
