I have a huge table report in PowerBI and would like insert empty rows just before date change so that it will be more readeble to end users (data will be grouped based on dates).
I will appreciate if somebody can guide me how to achieve this.

I don't think there is any direct way you can do this in a table visual. This is more like an excel kind of interface you are looking for. But Power BI Desktop is designed for Sophisticated Data Visualization purposes rather than Tables and Matrix
You could instead try using a Report Builder that can give you pixel perfect reports. Not sure if that has the allowance to add empty rows. But since it is very similar to the Old SSRS I guess it could help you with this. You can explore on this
