I have a stacked bar chart showing total support tickets by type (incident or request) over a 26 month period. I have the MonthYear values in the X axis. What I need to show in the X axis is each month grouped by year, so, January 2020 January 2021 and January 2022 will be grouped together, Februay's, March's, etc. all in ascending order. Here's the chart from BI desktop so far....
You can see that BI is showing the names of the month in alphabetical ascending order, which isn't what I need. This is what I need the chart to look like (this was done in Excel by exporting the chart data out to a csv file):
I know there's a way to make this work in BI but I'm not able to come up with the specific axis settings to make it do this. Any ideas?
EDIT: I've been able to get the months grouped by year, but the ordering of the months still is not correct - it's still alphabetical. I need to groupings to be in the proper month sequence - Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr.....etc.

@Anonymous , For month create a month sort order and mark that as the sort column
Month Year = FORMAT([Date],"mmm")
Month Year sort = month([DAte])
