Help with a writing a DAX function based on conditions of another column

I am still very new to DAX, but I have a table where I need to create a DAX measure to add up the values from the Values column if the Origin Column equals 4 specific locations. And then another measure to add the values if the same origin column does not equal those first 4 locations.

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Try this

Measure(not included) =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ),
    'Table'[Origin] NOT(IN { Origin1, Origin2, Origin3, Origin4 })
)

Hi @Mbryanton

I am sharing the idea of the DAX measure, please update

Measure(not included) =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ),
    'Table'[Origin] <> { Origin1, Origin2, Origin3, Origin4 }
)

Measure(included) = =
CALCULATE (
    SUM ( 'Table'[Value] ),
    'Table'[Origin] IN { Origin1, Origin2, Origin3, Origin4 }
)

Hi there! The second measure works! but I get an error when trying to apply the first one ( Measure - Not Included) that says " Couldn't load the data for this visual - A table of multiple values was supplied where a single value was expected?
