Filled map - Province Montana in Bulgary is shown in US instead.

Hello,

I created filled map for Bulgary but province Montana is shown in USA instead.

I've added country "BG" additionally in location but it's not helping as usually.

Hi, @Mateusz93

Based on your description, you want to disambiguate the Montana province in the map. The official documentation has a detailed solution to this problem, and you can do the following.

1. Categorize the geographic fields: Double-check that the data model sets the Province field (Montana) to the Data Category "Province/City/Autonomous Region/Municipality". Also, make sure that the Country/Region (Bulgaria) field is categorized as Country/Region. This categorization helps Power BI understand the geographic context of the data.

2. Use multiple location columns: To further clarify the intended locations for Power BI and Bing Maps, include the Province (Montana) and Country/Region (Bulgaria) as separate columns in the data. Ensure that these columns are properly categorized as described in Step 1. This method helps to eliminate ambiguity and ensures that the correct location is recognized.

3. Consider using latitude and longitude: If the problem persists, using the specific latitude and longitude values for the state of Montana, Bulgaria may be the final solution. This method eliminates any ambiguity because you are providing the exact coordinates. Make sure that these fields are in decimal number format and correctly categorized.

Hello,
Indeed point 3 was the solution.
Had to find latitude and longitude values and use it only with region names.
