Hi all,
Just getting started with Power BI and have a question about whether something's possible.
I've got a list of tasks with a resource ID, sequence, task start date and task duration.
For each resource I'd like to total their task duration by month for the next 12 months so for instance if a task started today and went on for 50 days or so the report would show feb-14 days, mar-30 days, apr-6 days etc.
Bonus points if any calculation can only count working days.
Is this possible? I've tried a few things but can't seem to make any combination of them start me on the correct road. I keep coming back to calendars but can't work out how to relate every day from the start date to the calendar in some way.
Ideally the report output should show the resource ID and their task commitments per month across next 12 months including this one.
Hope this makes sense!
@plotloss,
