Hello everyone!
As the title said, I want to know how we can download the data from a matrix visual where the formatting is exactly similar as what it was shown in the matrix visual.
I have seen several threads advising users to use the Power BI Service, but I don't want to spend money to buy a license just for the sake of downloading a data.
Is there an alternative workaround for this?
Best regards,
Bona

@Anonymous First you need to publish your report to power bi service and then open that report in power bi service and go to 3 dots on that visual and you will find a screen similar to this one I'm attaching the screenshot with data with current layout enabled. You can click it and it'll get downloaded easily.

@Anonymous You can access power bi service with your free account, you only need pro licence to share the reports to oter users. As you mentioned that you only need to dowload the data, so you can easily download it using the visual's layout option in the power bi service.

Thank you for the reply!
Can you also provide a guidance on how to perform that one the Power BI Service?
I have managed to log ini to the app.powerbi.com website, but I stuck after that.

This should work for all kinds of visual, right? Or this only works for table visuals only?

Now, I need a help here.
The above picture is the visual in which I want to extract as an excel with the same formatting as it is. However, I cannot the 'three dots' button where we can click 'Export data' on that specific visual.
I tried hovering on to other visuals and I can export the data easily.
Anything that I should do here?
@Anonymous ,
Weird, it should show, try clicking on the table.

Clicking on the table does not show any of the additional menus.
I tried exporting the same visual in my Power BI Desktop in csv format. It worked.
I assume the visual should also be exportable through Power BI Service.
Perhaps there are some things that prevented me from exporting?
