Date Join to Date Range ( Start Date and End Date)

Hello,

 

I'm looking to join a Date field from DataTable  to StartDate and EndDate fileds in DateTable. Basically I'm trying to join like this: 

DataTable.Date between DateTable.StartDate and DateTable.EndDate 

 

Is it possible in power BI data modeling?

You can create month and week fields separately, and then filter by clicking on the slicer:

Thanks for the reply. I have the date filed already in the table and I can use date slicer as an filter. But requirement is to use Button or Chicklet slicer to filter the data. For example, I have buttons with named Current Month, Current Week, Current Year & Last Month. User will just click on specific button to get the data for that time period. Is this possible?

You can try to create a date table, and then select the date range through the filter and find the corresponding value, refer to the following:
