Hi Power BI community,
I'd like to use Containsstring dax function in Excel, but it appears that this dax function is not present in Excel Power Pivot. Please could you let me know which alternative funcrtion(s) you recommend using in order to achieve the same output as containsstring in Excel Power Pivot?
Thank you for your help.
Solved! Go to Solution.
CONTAINSSTRING is syntax sugar for SEARCH; thus the alternative is like,
FILTER( tbl, CONTAINSTRING( tbl[Text], "XYZ" ) )
<==>
FILTER( tbl, SEARCH( "XYZ", tbl[Text], 1, 0 ) > 0 )
Expertise = List.Accumulate( {Days as from Today}, {Skills and Knowledge}, (Current, Everyday) => Current & Day.LeanAndPractise(Everyday) ) |
