Conditional formatting in the scatter chart fx disappears when i add Legend

i made a scatter report and i needed to apply conditional formating to the colors fo the markers. i went to

format visual > Marjers > Color

and i am able to click on the "fx" button

i then proceeded to finish my report by adding addtional fiels and info. Later on i wanted to edit the colors and the "fx" button was gone. it was replaced by the acutl Legend values and i was not able to edit the formula. as seen here

Hi @Ipsum200 ,

It seems that the “fx” button for conditional formatting in Power BI’s scatter report may disappear if you are plotting multiple series. The Power BI can only change the color. I think you can try adjusting your data fields to ensure only one series is on the Axis and one in the Values. This should bring back the “fx” button, allowing you to edit the conditional formatting formula again.

Also I think you can look at this topic, it may help you: Solved: No conditional formatting 'fx option next to the D... - Microsoft Fabric Community
