Comparing moving average values with single values from the data table

Hello,

I have a time series and I calculated the 6 months moving average. The data is on monthly basis and now I would like to compare each of the moving average values with the individual months values. The moving average is a measure and I have 2 columns: one containing the date and another one containing the values for each month.

Basically I want to make an alarm sistem for when the monthly data rises above the moving average.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you!

hi, @serbanbuliga

Just try this simple way:

Step1:

Create a simple measure for the single values.

Measure= CALCULATE( SUM( [single value] ) )

Step2:

Then compare this measure with [moving average]

Best Regards,

Lin
