Hi All,
We have a suite of reports in Qlikview that we are planning to migrate to Power BI. But the challenge is that in Qlikview, we have on-demand NPrinting i.e. the user can download a report (different from the published report) based on the selections applied in the report.
Is there any tool that we can integrate into Power BI to attain the similar functionality?
Thanks in advance!

Hi @simrantuli ,
Exporting data from a Power BI visual can only export data but not view effects.
There is a workaround. You could only put one visual on one page when you create a report. Then when exporting PDF, select the page you want to export, and check only export the current page. The result is that the exported visual is the single visual you selected.

@simrantuli use cannot directly make changes in PPT but they can surely personalize the reports look-n-feel in Power BI service and then export it. check this post for the personalizing visuals.

@simrantuli not sure when you refer to download what does that means? In Power BI, a user can export the report to PDF or PowerPoint and then use it for printing or for another purpose. Wouldn't that suffix the requirement?

Hi @parry2k ,
Thank you for your answer.
Basically, the requirement is that I have a report in Power BI having some visuals. But the user wants to be able to export that data in a ppt with different visuals.
E.g. Let's say in Power BI Report, the user wants to see the data in a bar chart and a table but wants to be able to download this report as a ppt file having visuals line chart and pie chart. Is there any way to do that?
This requirement can be achieved in Qlikview tool (another BI tool for reporting) using their NPrinting tool. We are basically migrating Qlikview reports to Power BI and want to know a way out for this.
Thanks!
Hi Simran, hope you have successfully migrated your apps from Qlik to power bi. I just wanted to know if you have find a replacement for Nprinting in power bi. Could you please respond on this as I'm also looking for a same solution . Thanks
