ARC GIS for Power BI - UK Districts / Counties Not Populating from a single dataset

I'm having trouble displaying a full England & Wales map of data in ARC GIS.

The data i'm trying to pull in is here:

Internal migration: detailed estimates by origin and destination local authorities, age and sex - Of...

The result i get from the 2020 data is something like below (with a big whole in the middle), but I'm obviously hoping to represent the whole dataset:

I'm doing the following to get this far:

1) InLA into Location well,

2) Go to Location Type and Learn More

3) Boundaries | One Country | UK | Exact Match

4) Location Type = Districts

I think the issue are these areas:

E06000060 Buckinghamshire is in 2020 data but not appearing on map. Area previously made up previously of E07000004 Aylesbury Vale, E07000005 Chiltern, E07000006 South Bucks, E07000007 Wycombe, which do pull through on the map if i load 2016 data for example.

E06000062 West Northamptonshire in 2020 data but not appearing on map. Previously made up of E07000155 South Northamptonshire, E07000154 Northampton, E07000151 Daventry which populate from 2016 data.

E06000061 North Northamptonshire in 2020 data but not appearing on map. Made up previously of E07000150 (Corby), E07000152 (East Northamptionshire), E07000153 (Kettering), E07000156 Wellingborough which populate from 2016 data.

I'm wondering how i can get the map to display the full extent of the data for 2020. It doesn't like the new areas (E06000060 Buckinghamshire, E06000062 West Northamptonshire, E06000061 North Northamptonshire) as far as i can tell. I'm not sure if this is because i'm selecting 'Districts' and these are now classified differently - but either way I can't amend the source data to disagregate these back to whatever they were before.

Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks 🙂

Hi @GlassShark1 ,

Based on your description, it seems to be that these reorganized or redistricted areas do not show up on the ArcGIS map. I'm sorry I didn't find a suitable way to solve this problem. Please check the content of these links below, hope they can help you.

Specify the location type

Filled Map not allocating counties correctly (USA)
