Today we discuss all the things related to polishing a Power BI Report.

- Create Alignment of the objects
- Add Style to the page
- Add grey background
- Add 10 pixels by using Nudge <shift> and Arrow Keys
- Use the navigation if you built during the report build
- Look at all the filters that you set on the report pages
- This way you don't publish a report that is over filtered
- Add descriptions to tables and Measures
- Arranging Tables in the model view
Tommy
- Pay Attention to the Colors
- Align colors to Categories
- Don't over color the page
- Add clear headers and tooltips for visuals
- Explain why this visual is here
- Be clear and concise
- Test using the functionality
- Click on things that are supposed to be interactive
- Group The Measures into folder
- Group M Queries into folders
- Recommend grouping by source, SQL, Parameters, User Entered
Seth
- Build a checklist of things you need to review

- Turn of headers
- Turn off by default and turn it on in exceptions
- Adding Helper Icons and or a page that describes what is in the report
- Tell the users what questions you are trying to answer with the visuals
- Check other data sources that might consume the data
- Build pages that check various important data points to ensure they are still working
