Hello,
my Semantic model is using multiple data sources. One of those is Oracle ODBC.
If i refresh data using PBI Desktop everything is working.
But my published version in Service is giving me this error after trying to refresh data :
Data source error{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-12537: TNS: connection closed\n\r\nERROR [IM006] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed\r\nERROR [HY000] [Oracle][ODBC][Ora]ORA-12537: TNS: connection closed\n"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.DataSourceKind","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Odbc"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.DataSourcePath","detail":{"type":1,"value":"dsn=SPINSK64"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.OdbcErrors","detail":{"type":1,"value":"#table({\"SQLState\", \"NativeError\", \"Message\"}, {})"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Reason","detail":{"type":1,"value":"DataSource.Error"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: XYZ
Every time i tried to refresh this error came up but with different Table name ( XYZ, ABC, ...)
But when i try to refresh it 4th 5th time the refresh will take place in order with no error. This problem is causing me complications because of Schedule refresh.
Has anyone encountered a similar problem?
Thanks
Hi @Romancu ,
TNS: connection closed error you're encountering with your Oracle ODBC data source in Power BI Service. This error typically indicates a problem with the network connection between the Power BI service and your Oracle database, or a configuration issue on the Oracle server side.
If it does not help, please provide more details.
