We have Premium P1 Capacity. A report that was refreshing successfully on a schedule, stopped working with the error: 'Data source error Resource Governing: This operation was canceled because there wasn't enough memory to finish running it'

We tried to follow the instructions here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/service-admin-premium-workloads We have not upgraded to Fabric and don't have access to Admin Portal -> Capacity Settings -> Fabric Capacity tab.

The report is about 367 MB in size.

Could you check to see if in Power Query you are doing a lot of merges?

When merging this can use a lot of memory.

Also please check if you are creating any calculated columns or calculated tables as these can also consume a lot of memory when refreshing. An alternative to creating the calculated columns or tables is to do it in Power Query instead where it can save on memory usage.

First check if the Workspace storage if it is full. if not then you have 2 Options

• Either You will need to upgrade to prmium Capacity
• Or do some tunning and optimizations on your semantic model. Dax measure, Relationships, None used columns like Date columns that you need to eliminate...
