Hi guys,
my report in the service shows the US numbers format for numbers: 1,000.34 €
In the Power BI Desktop file the format is EU: 1.000,34 €
The EU format should also be shown in the service. Any idea why the format changes when publishing the file?
The Power BI Settings are set to EU via the options / regional settings in Power BI Desktop. Also the system settings for my windows is adjusted to EU.
Thx for any help!

Hi @HR303
I would use the custom format string for your numbers to ensure that the number expears as expected when being it in the desktop and in the Power BI Service.
I had something similar happen to me with dates. Power BI service would display UTC dates which was a day behind my locale settings. So functions like TODAY() would return incorrect results. The fix I used was similar to what @GilbertQ has mentioned above
