Can someone guide me whteher the premium per user license will be enough for me to work with lakehouse, synapse and pipelines in microsoft fabric ? Or Would I have to buy a fabric capacity itself (If yes, how to go ahead with this)
Lastly, what are the charges incurred for the data loads etc into lakehouse? Is there any pricing calculator for this SaaS.

Hi @Rohitb ,
Thanks for the reply from mohitkumawat .
The Premium Per User license might be sufficient for working with lakehouse, synapse, and pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
Here are the prerequisites for using lakehouse:
Lakehouse tutorial - Create a workspace - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn
Here are the prerequisites for using synapse:
How to connect Azure Synapse to Power BI for data visualization. - Microsoft Community Hub
Here are the prerequisites for using pipelines:
Create and manage a Power BI deployment pipeline - Training | Microsoft Learn
To purchase Fabric capacity, you can purchase it through the Azure portal. For details, please refer to:
How to get "Fabric" Capacity - Overview (azure.com)
An example of pricing for purchasing fabric capacity is shown in the figure below:
Regarding the cost of loading data into OneLake Storage, OneLake Storage charges $0.023 per GB per month for data storage.
Regarding the pricing calculator, there is no specific one, but you can refer to:

Hi ,
No, a Premium Per User (PPU) license for Power BI won't be sufficient for working with the full capabilities of Microsoft Fabric, including lakehouse, Warehouse Synapse Analytics, and data pipelines,Copilot. This is suitable for basic Power BI consumption, but not for the advanced features offered by Fabric.
