Card Visual is Displaying Incorrect Data

I have a report I built and shared with multiple coworkers, it has multiple card visuals and slicers. When I and other collegues select the slicer, the visual shows the correct number. But when one co-worker I shared the report with selects that same slicer, it displays different incorrect data. What could possibly be the reason for this?

Hey @wiselyman3 ,

I can imagine the two reasons why this can happen:

  • personal filtering is applied for this user, because the user selected a filter, to resolve this, ask the user to reset the filter:

  • maybe there is Row Level Security (RLS) is applied and the user is assigned to a different role

Hopefully, this provides some ideas of how to tackle your challenge.

Regards,

Tom

Thank you Tom! I ended up disabling personal/persistent filtering for individual users and this seems to have fixed the issue.
