'&' becomes '&amp in power query and reports

Hi,

I am connecting a Sharepoint file to powerBI and noticed that the value '&' in the sharepoint file gets converted to '&amp' in the powerBI report. Is anyone else facing the same issue? Same issue occurs for semicolon also.
 For eg:

This is the sharepoint field

When powerBI/ Power Query reads it , it is shown as 

Is there a solution? Please help

Hi @athiramkrishnan 

Not sure of the exact reasons, but to remove it, in Power Query highlight all the columns where it appears, in the Ribbion, choose replace values. Enter & and replace with &
